Terms of Service

Agreement and service

Effective July 21, 2026. By using the Avrelius website or app, you agree to these Terms.

Avrelius is a journaling and decision-support product. You capture events, thoughts, and decisions in your own words; the service connects them into a digital portrait, surfaces patterns and contradictions, checks expectations against outcomes, and prepares a weekly digest.

Closed beta and payment

Closed-beta access is invitation-only and may be limited or withdrawn. Features may change, fail, or be temporarily unavailable, and we make no uptime commitment during the beta.

Closed-beta participants use Avrelius free of charge. We do not request payment details and cannot charge you automatically. Paid plans will begin only after we publish pricing, identify the payment provider, update these Terms, and you separately confirm a purchase.

Your account, content, and license

You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity under your Avrelius account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain your rights in your entries. You permit us to process them only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Avrelius features you choose, as described in the Privacy notice. We do not sell your entries or use them to train third-party models.

The service, software, and Avrelius materials belong to us or our licensors. While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal right to use the service.

Important limitations

Avrelius uses AI, so its outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Verify important information independently. Your decisions and their consequences remain your responsibility.

Avrelius supports journaling, self-reflection, and decisions. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional services and is not an emergency service. Seek the relevant qualified professional for professional help, and contact local emergency services in an emergency.

Acceptable use

Use Avrelius lawfully and primarily for your own journaling. Do not upload another person's recording, voice, or other material unless you have the right to do so. Do not attempt unauthorized access, evade service limits, test for vulnerabilities without written permission, disrupt the service, or store or distribute unlawful content.

Suspension, disclaimers, and liability

We may suspend access when reasonably needed to protect security, comply with law, protect the service or others, or address a material breach of these Terms. Where reasonable, we will try to give notice. Your ability to request an export or deletion does not depend on beta-access status.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Avrelius during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Ending use, changes, and contact

You may stop using Avrelius at any time. Export is available from Settings. A deletion request deactivates your account immediately; you may cancel it within seven days by emailing hello@avrelius.com, after which your data is permanently erased.

We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will give notice before material changes take effect. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the service and delete your account.

Avrelius is operated by Avrelia Inc. (in formation). Questions about these Terms: hello@avrelius.com.
